Cobalt was so confused all the time, which added depth to his character. To prevent an army from the neighboring Misted Cliffs from invading her homeland, she agrees to wed Cobalt Escar, son of Varquelle, ruler of the Misted Cliffs.

Cafherine good characters also were nicely depicted which isn’t much of a change from book 1. The ending was not as conclusive, and you knew there was going to be another book, but it was sweet.

Although tortured at heart and feeling that war is the only answer, Cobalt agrees mistex marry Princess Melody in the hopes that the war, although undoubtedly inevitable, can at least be put off.
